    1. Complete your consultation form
    Before your first session, you’ll complete a consultation form to help us assess your skin type, tanning history and any health conditions or medications that may affect your suitability for UV tanning.

    2. Discuss your session time
    Everyone’s skin is different, so we can’t recommend how many minutes you should do until we’ve completed your consultation. Our team will use this information to assess whether UV tanning is suitable for you and advise on an appropriate starting time.

    3. Get to know your sunbed
    We’ll show you to your bed and talk you through how everything works, including the controls, fans, start and stop buttons, and required eye protection.

    Ask us anything along the way—we want you to feel informed and comfortable before your session begins.

    COURSE TERMS & CONDITIONS

    • All courses are valid for 2 years from the date of purchase.

    • Minutes cannot be shared, transferred or refunded.

    • Minutes can be used on any of our stand-up or lie-down sunbeds, but cannot be used on our red light bed.

    • Track your course balance through your online portal.

  • OUR SALON POLICY

    At Sun Station Horsforth, we’re proud to be members of The Sunbed Association and committed to responsible tanning practices.

    STRICTLY 18+
    Our UV sunbeds are available to customers aged 18 and over only. Valid photographic ID is required to verify your age, so please bring it with you. No under 16s in the building.

    CONSULTATION BEFORE YOUR FIRST SESSION
    All new customers must complete a consultation form so we can assess their skin type and suitability for UV tanning before advising on session times. Please tell us about any changes to your health or medication before future sessions.

    0.3 COMPLIANT SUNBEDS
    All our sunbeds comply with the 0.3 UV irradiance standard and also feature red light tubes. These are still UV tanning beds; the addition of red light does not remove the risks associated with UV exposure.

    EYE PROTECTION IS ESSENTIAL
    Suitable protective eyewear must be worn throughout every UV tanning session.
